Seniors prepare for ending school year

Sage Dean, Staff Reporter

As the end of the school year winds down, seniors are counting the days until graduation on May 18.

Seniors’ last day of school will be May 14.

“We will be announcing the top 20 students the week we come back from spring break,” principal Sid Taylor said.

The top 20 banquet will be on May 3 at 6:30 pm in the gym.

Senior class night will follow on May 6 at the football field.

“Usually it is held in the gym but because of COVID we are going to move it to the football stadium which will allow your parents to be able to come,” Taylor said.

Senior Stroll is taking place May 7.

“You will be able to get on the buses that morning, we’ll leave from the high school and we’ll go to the middle school and we’ll also be able to take you to your elementary school so you can walk through and visit your former teachers,” Taylor said.

This information should have been received at the last senior meeting and your parents will also be receiving it in the mail. Make sure to turn in any scholarship information to counselor West-Terry in the front office.

“Keep pushing forward, keep moving forward. You’re almost to the finish line and we’re very proud of you,” Taylor said.

Be sure to keep all of these dates in mind and check your email daily. If you have any questions feel free to ask any of the counselors or administrators.
