Even though Covid-19 interfered with the season, the Lady Rebels persevered through it by making it to the first round of state playoffs.

“It’s been a good season, season of growth,” Coach Tyler Denmark said.

“The team handled the difference in the season the best way they could with discipline and maturity,” Denmark said.

“The season felt the same to me but different protocols,” sophomore Irina Sanford said. Sanford led the team with 218 digs for the season.

“This season has been a lot shorter. I was also quarantined so I missed out on some games, but we accomplished many of our goals and I’m proud to be a part of it,” sophomore Maddie Finch said. Finch led the team with 191 assists for the season.

Denmark told me in the future that he’s hoping to “Work on getting the team stronger, quicker, and growing their knowledge to the game.”

Leading the team in kills was sophomore Brinklee Eubanks with 88, and sophomore Ashton Fairley with 84. Ashton also led the team in aces with 44.
