The Interact Club hosted a field day last friday full of fun and games for elementary school students across the district.

“We hold it to give an opportunity to those kids around the district to come and kinda visit the high school and visit with some high school students,” Interact Club sponsor Marlana Broadhead said.

At the field day, there were plenty of things the students could interact and have fun with such as a bouncy house, a dunking booth, face painting and much more. All the while, the kids were running around and hanging out with friends.

“They had playful energy, they had fun, and were really attached to other people like if they get to know you and they like you friends for life,” Interact Club Member William Rasberry said.

The Interact Club has been hosting these field days for over several years and many years to come. The members of the club manage each activity and even play games, such as tug of war, with the students.

“My favorite part of field day is bonding with the students, they are very trusting kids and once they get to know you and be friends with you they are very trusting and that’s just a great feeling to have,” Rasberry said.
