The Lady Rebels volleyball team will be in the first round of the playoffs and will travel to Florence on Oct 8.

The Lady Rebels have an overall record of 10-3 and a district overall record of 2-3.

“The drills figured out what our weaknesses are and all the better,” senior Irina Sanford said of the team to prepare for the postseason.

The Lady Rebels have several players who help the team to win and to complete their goal this season.

“Our leading scorer is Ashton Fairley; she averages about 16 kill per game which is good and also we have Brinklee Eubanks is right behind her and Jill Lancaster,” Coach Tyler Denmark said.

The Lady Rebels faced against Vancleave, who they won against Vancleave before.

“I feel like we started the first two sets really good.“And then after that, we kind of got sloppy and we got lazy,” Senior Beautyful Humphrey said,“and instead of you bringing it and being dogs, we just kind of lay down and we didn’t pull through the loss.”

The Lady Rebels will be in action Thursday night when they travel to d’Iberville and will be at home next week to end their regular season.
