“I started reading a few summers ago, it was something called “Beach Read,” I thought the whole idea of reading on the beach sounded really cute. Until that I was never really reading a lot, but I’ve loved it ever since.
I’m a fan of the dystopian genre, so things like “The Hunger Games” and “Divergent”. I really loved “The Silent Patient,” a story about this therapist that is taking care of this woman, and it’s got a lot of plot twists and stuff. It’s really good.
Escaping from reality in general is just what I do when I’m in a bad headspace.
The thing that I’ve also picked up the most is journaling. It’s another thing that I never really did before, but I guess I learned how much it helps to just throw all of my thoughts on a page. I think that’s my favorite way to cope as well.”
