Former house construction worker Wes Shows believes he was brought to the high school for a purpose and is trying to find out what that purpose is.
Shows began working at the high school as the maintenance director at the end of the last school year after having a neck surgery, which made it difficult for him to be involved in the construction job.
Shows and his family are native to George County, and he is an alumni of the high school who is a 2001 graduate.
He is interested in golf, playing with his step-daughters, baseball and basketball.
He can be found doing donuts in the hallways on his floor-scrubber with his music jamming.
“I have to work here, so I might as well have some fun,” Shows said.
Growing up, his dream job or career was to play in Major League Baseball because he always enjoyed the game of baseball.
