With the season right around the corner, the Lady Rebels Softball team prepares for their jamboree on Feb. 13. The season will officially start Feb. 15, as the Lady Rebels will be playing in the Mardi Gras Classic at Pearl River Central. 

   Coach Kasey McCann is looking forward to starting the softball season, since last year’s season was cut short due to the pandemic ending all school activities. 

   “That’s not much time to review our scrimmage but we will get going right after the two.”  Coach McCann said. 

   With five returners and one of them injured, the team continues to have a positive outlook for the season.

   Even though COVID has affected them with some players being exposed, the team has not yet to have any positive cases.
