Guidance counselor Allyson Howard is ready to serve and be available for students and help them achieve their goals.

Originally Howard is from Escatawpa. She graduated from Moss Point High, achieved an undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, and later earned her Master’s degree from William Carey University. She is currently getting her Master’s degree for student counseling from Arkansas University. Over the course of 16 years, Howard has taught at various schools, and this is her third as a counselor.

She has been married to Brad Howard for 27 years and has two children named Ben and Abigail, along with two dogs, a weenie dog and a golden retriever, which she considers her children. She also has six siblings. Some of her favorite memories were being able to be a stay-at-home mom.

“My greatest achievement would have to be raising my kids and watching them grow healthy and living right,” Howard said.

Overall in life her goal is to retire and travel the country. According to Howard, she is enjoying her experience at George County High School.
