One of George County’s best football seasons has come to an end.
After a successful season the football team made it to the playoffs for the first time in a few years, and hosted the game at home. They went up against Terry in a very tight match. Terry eventually won, getting a close score of 41-39. Some of the star players were Marlin Odom, Montrell Dortch, Deuce Knight, Brenn Moody, and Brandon Guactier. There were transfers and injuries along the way but according to coach Ray, the team bonded very well and took initiative when needed which helped a lot with this season. They finished the season 8-4.
